Junior Achievement has created program
supplements to help students understand the current economic
climate and how they can succeed, regardless of the prevailing
financial circumstances.
Battle of the Bands: Online Supplement
Battle of the Bands is designed for high
school students, Grades 9-12. Following participation in the supplement,
students will be able to:

Determine how a person’s income can reflect the choices she or he has made about education, training, skills, and careers.

Apply economic terms and concepts related to career preparation.

JA Hire Yourself is designed for high school students. Following
participation in the supplement, students will be able to:
- Describe the importance of strategically selecting work in recession-proof industries to succeed in challenging financial times.
- Develop a basic business idea for a recession-proof industry.

JA Proactive Planning
JA Proactive Planning is designed for middle grades students.
Following participation in the supplement, students will be able
to:
- Describe the importance of proactive financial planning as a means of preparing for a changing economy.

Analyzing Credit Cards
Analyzing Credit Cards is designed for elementary school
students, Grades 4-5. Following participation in the
supplement, students will be able to:

Recognize the fact that credit cards are not good or bad, but how they are used can have positive or negative consequences for a family and for the economy.

All in It Together
All in It Together is designed for elementary school
students, Grades 2-3. Following participation in the
supplement, students will be able to:

Describe the importance of the whole family working together to save money by being thrifty.
