

JA Company Program Vendor Criteria
Vendors must adhere to the following guidelines
to be listed as a Junior Achievement vendor on this site.

- Products must be safe to produce and use. No power tools
needed.
- Products must require assembly or special packaging.
- Brochures or Web sites promoting the products must clearly
state payment terms, returns policy, credit limits, freight
costs, and loss policies.
- If a component shown in a catalog photo or on a Web site
is not included in the kit of materials, it must be clearly
stated.
- Any tools, equipment, or supplies needed in addition to
the kit must be clearly shown or stated in all promotional
material.
- Credit terms should be clearly stated in all promotional
material. Terms of net 30 days are recommended. No COD shipments
are permitted.
- Vendors should stock items in ready-to-sell condition,
not on a made-to-order basis.
- Any replacements for missing or defective parts must be
shipped from the vendor in an expeditious manner.
- Vendors should be familiar with shipping schedules so
that appropriate delivery dates can be set and met.
- Phone lines should be staffed during regular business
hours both for ordering and to handle any problems that
may occur.
- Vendors must carry product liability insurance on the
products they sell and furnish proof of insurance to JA.
- A sample of any product recommended for JA Company Program
use must be submitted for approval.
- Any use of the JA name or logo on your product must be
approved. JA Worldwide® makes available corporate
identity guidelines to ensure compliance.
- JA Worldwide® reserves the right to solicit
credit reports annually.
- Junior Achievement reserves the right to remove from this
resource list any vendors who do not meet the above criteria.
Failure to comply will result in loss of participation fees.
