Supplemental Sessions Menu

JA Volunteers and Teachers: Below are online links to additional sessions designed to supplement the JA Be Entrepreneurial program. Each session includes the volunteer or teacher plan and student materials. Although they could be used at any time during the program, their recommended placement is included.

Note: The supplements should not replace any one of the program’s seven sessions that are required for standard implementation.

 

Supplemental Session A: Entrepreneurship—Is It for Me?
Students are introduced to entrepreneurship and its advantages and disadvantages.

Although this can be used at any time during the program, its recommended placement is immediately before or after Session One.

 

Supplemental Session B: Intentional Growth
Students learn and apply the four ways to grow a business.

Although this can be used at any time during the program, its recommended placement is after Session Seven.

 

Supplemental Session C: Continuous, Rapid Innovation
Students learn about the necessity of rapid innovation and how they can recognize and apply their own innovative-thinking skills.

Although this can be used at any time during the program, its recommended placement is after Session Seven.

 

Supplemental Session D: Promoting Commitment and Performance
Students learn business methods of promoting commitment and performance in themselves and their employees.

Although this can be used at any time during the program, its recommended placement is after Session Seven.
