Formative Evaluation of JA's Innovative Afterschool Elementary Program, JA More than Money 

Overall, the JA More than Money pilot program was successful in increasing participant knowledge about money and business, improving attitudes about learning, and increasing participants’ outlook for the future. The information from the formative evaluation will assist program developers in refining the program materials for wider distribution throughout the Junior Achievement community. Additionally, the formative evaluation has provided the groundwork for the upcoming impact evaluation of the JA More than Money program scheduled to begin in the fall of 2005.

Preliminary Survey Results from the JCPenney-St. Louis/Junior Achievement After-School Program Partnership 

In early 2003, JCPenney Afterschool began a partnership with Junior Achievement of the Mississippi Valley to implement a pilot program in the greater St. Louis area. The pilot focused on promoting JA's Internet programs, JA Titan and JA Personal Finance, at Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCAs in an effort to increase implementation of these programs in after-school settings across St. Louis and surrounding counties.

Summative Evaluation Results from the Boston JA Academy Project 

JA Academy students believe they can achieve anything they want!  Read more about the impact of the JA Academy, a local R&D program developed in Boston to meet the needs of high school students in the after-school time frame. Based on the JA Company Program, the JA Academy connects students to a mentoring team, higher education, and the world of work.
