The volunteer's role:
1. The volunteer's role would be to present 5 to 8 activities to the students, at the school, during the school day.
2. The lesson plans are user friendly and easy to present.
3. No research required.
4. It only takes 30-60 minutes to present each of the activities, but the benefits to the students will last a lifetime!
5. All class materials are provided by Junior Achievement, including a short training session for first time presenters.
Junior Achievement provides volunteer training which last from an hour to an hour and a half - depending on the grade level. The JA staff schedules both group and one-on-one training sessions to accommodate the volunteer’s schedule. The training covers specific program curriculum information as well as classroom management and teaching tips.
Junior Achievement staff are always available to answer questions and provide support.
