Purpose
Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.

Thousands of students in the Greater Tyler Area have benefited from the Junior Achievement program since we began the programs on a full-time basis in 1988!

Method
By partnering business and education, Junior Achievement recruits volunteers to facilitate economics-oriented lessons for students in K-12. The volunteer teaches one activity each session. (5 - 8 visits, 30-45 minutes each depending upon the grade and program) All the materials, lesson plans, and training is provided by Junior Achievement. The volunteers become role models to students, presenting important life concepts through their diverse outside perspectives.
