Middle Grade Programs

Junior Achievement's Middle Grade Programs teach sixth through eighth grade students the importance of economics. Students participate in hands-on exercises that encourage career considerations and emphasize the importance of. Volunteers serve as role models and enrich the activities with their knowledge of life and business.
Each Junior Achievement Middle Grade Program consists of six weekly engaging activities that are facilitated by community volunteers.
Middle School Programs

JA America Works™ (6th-8th)
Helps students understand the impact entrepreneurs exerted on the economy during
JA Global Marketplace® (6th-8th)
provides practical information about how international trade works and how it affects students' daily lives.
*JA Economics for Success® (6th-8th)
explores personal finance and students' education and career options based on their skills, interests and values.
*JA It's My Business!® (Afterschool)
emphasizes entrepreneurship while providing a strong focus on social studies, reading and writing skills. Students are encouraged to use critical thinking to learn entrepreneural skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations.
