Businesses, Foundations, and Individuals support JA because they understand the tremendous need for a well-educated work force and appreciate the value in their investments.

Our goal as an organization is to better serve the community, and support it with an educated future workforce. In return, we require the support of the community so we can continue as an organization.

This includes finding volunteers from the community who are willing to go into the classrooms. It also means finding business professionals who are willing to serve as board members and support the administrative side of Junior Achievement. Support must also come from businesses and individuals that realize the importance of starting economic and business education early on and continuing it through all grade levels.

Invest in the future of our community!
Approximately 300 businesses are Job Shadow sites, provide funding, and/or volunteers to support JA locally!

"I take a dim view of most of the programs companies create to develop their people. The real development
I've seen of people in organziations, especially in big ones comes from their being volunteers in a nonprofit
organization - where you have responsbility, you see results, and you quickly learn what your values are.
There is no better way to understand your strengths and discover where you belong than to volunteer in a
nonprofit. That is probably the great opportunity for the social sectore - and especially in its relationship to business."
