JA PGA Golf Invitational
took place on Monday,
July 30, 2007 at the
Rumson Country Club
in Rumson, NJ.

This unique golf invitational
combined corporate andindividually sponsored
threesomes to play with New Jersey’s premier
high school aged golfers, creating foursomes
(playing with juniors was optional). The junior
golfers were invited and selected by the PGA
of New Jersey to participate based on specified
qualifications.

The afternoon of golf was followed by lunch and
concluded with a casual cocktail reception and
an awards ceremony with the highly anticipated
grand raffle. Proceeds of this event will help
JA-NJ implement its in-school and after-school
economic educational and financial literacy
programs to classrooms that are currently
unfunded and are at risk of occurring.

On behalf of Junior Achievement of NJ (JA-NJ)
and the 30,000 New Jersey youth who will
receive the JA programs this school-year, thank
you for your support. For such a small intimate
group, we raised a net $34,000!

Golfing is great but getting into the classroom
can be even better! Please consider doing a team
building volunteer day with JA at a school near you.

On October 9th, 2006, the North District Golf Tournament raised $25,000. One hundred golfers enjoyed their day
from the beautiful and challenging course to the
exceptionally sunny day to the delicious food served
both day and night at Fairmount Country Club, in
Chatham, NJ.
