Above all, the culture of Junior Achievement is mission-driven. From the Board of Directors to staff members, the JA community is filled with dedicated people committed to delivering our programs of hope and opportunity to every student in Mississippi.

Most staff positions either deal primarily with program delivery (recruiting volunteers and educators, providing training, providing follow-up assistance, etc.) or with fundraising and marketing functions (managing special events such as bowling events and golf tournaments, managing funding campaigns, public awareness, etc.)  In Mississippi, some staff members work primarily in the Jackson Metro area while others represent Junior Achievement of Mississippi, Inc. in various communities around the state.

JA employees work with caring, interesting people in the community - educators, business people, parents, and community leaders of all types - who are concerned about our young people and want to help give them every opportunity to enjoy a successful life. Employees are encouraged to personally teach a JA program in the classroom which provide first-hand knowledge of exactly how our programs impact young people. By teaching a JA program in the classroom, employees also experience the satisfaction our volunteers and educators enjoy.

JA hires without regard to sex, age, race, color, religion, national origin, or disability.
