Waukesha County is unique to Junior Achievement's metro operations in being the only county to have its own JA Board of Directors. Established in 1996, the board's mission is to increase the availability of JA programs to Waukesha County students.  

Testament to the board's success is the growth of programming since 1996.   County wide, the number of participating classrooms has grown from 230 to over 700 (per school year), while the number of student participants has jumped from 4600 to over 14,000.   Growth is expected to continue, as educator demand for JA programs remains strong.
