Fundraising
We have made it very easy to solicit pledges.  You can set up a web page with Firstgiving and ask for support for your efforts from friends, family, co-workers, and everyone in your e-mail address book!  The goal is $100 per person but we encourage you to exceed the goal. (min $65 to bowl)  Just log onto http://www.firstgiving.com/jahudsonvalley.  It takes less than five minutes to do!

PRIZES!

Team Prizes: (based on total money raised by team)

Individual Prizes:

$750 - $999 - 2 movie tickets for each team member

$100 + All bowlers who raise $100 or more will receive a JA Bowl For Kids T-shirt

$1,000 - $1,999 - A night out at Dave & Busters, includes a power card for the arcade.

$500 - $740 - $25 Gift Certificate

$2,000 - $3,999 - Dinner for two for each team member.

$750 - $999 - $50 Gift Certificate

 

$1,000 - $2,499 - Dinner & movie for two

* matching funds not considered for prizes

$2,500 - $4,999 - Tickets for two to a Broadway show. (transportation not included)

Your fund raising effort will support JA educational programs
$1000 JA Text & Material for a high school class
$800 JA Text & Material for an entire middle school class
$400 JA experience and curriculum an entire elementary school
$100 Helps underwrite JA job shadow experiences for middle and high school students
$45 Sponsors a middle or high school student for a semester
$25 Sponsors an elementary school student for a semester

Being a sponsor is a great way to get involved in the Junior Achievement Bowl for Kids bowl-a-thon, especially if your company is unable to participate the night of the event.  Your contacts and vendors can also help support Junior Achievement by joining in the festivities and become a sponsor.  As a Bowl for Kids sponsor the benefits are a win-win-win – great public relations for the company, being a community partner with JA and knowing you will be making a difference in children’s lives.

 

The following sponsorship opportunities are available:

 

p     Event Sponsor – Includes recognition in all publications and media opportunities, acknowledgement throughout the event, company banner displayed at the event, and company logo on the official Bowl for Kids T-shirts.

 

« Platinum Sponsor/s - $10,000 - Includes free bowling for 10 teams, food and soda

« Gold Sponsor/s - $5,000 - Includes free bowling for 5 teams

« Silver Sponsor/s - $3,000 - Includes free bowling for 3 teams

« Bronze Sponsor/s - $2,000 - Includes free bowling for 2 teams

 

p    T-shirt Sponsor – Levels - $1000, $750, $500, $250 - Includes company logo printed on the official Bowl for Kids T‑Shirt.  The result is perpetual marketing as participants wear their T‑shirts and you continue to gain exposure!

 

p     Lane Sponsor - $75 - Company name displayed on the lanes the night of the bowl‑a‑thon.

 

p     Prize Sponsor - Donate prizes for the bowlers to win the night of the event!  Acknowledgement throughout the event.
