Message from the President

The JA Innovation Hub, now in pilot, will reach 10,000 students annually with interactive technology wired to excite them about career options in the region’s growth industries, such as bio technology and bio science.  Each young person will walk away with educational roadmaps that ultimately lead directly to the doors of burgeoning businesses with workforce needs.

The JA Entrepreneurship Essentials Certificate Program, operating now at Cape Henlopen High School, will provide real tools and meaningful experiences for budding entrepreneurs to put down their business roots close to home, keeping the local economy humming.

This year, over 20,000 local students are being influenced by Junior Achievement of Delaware’s programs in New Castle, Kent, Sussex, Salem and Cecil Counties.  From Kindergarten through 12th grade, Junior Achievement students experience engaging activities and interactive lessons on Work Readiness, Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship, all designed to promote local success in the global economy.

You may be the only component missing from Junior Achievement’s economic development equation.  To find out more about our work, please peruse our website. Then, give me a call at 302 654-4510 or shoot me an email at rob@jadel.org

Thank you,

Rob Eppes

President
