The Junior Achievement program is a partnership, with JA office staff, the classroom teacher, and the volunteer consultant, all working together to educate and inspire young people. We give students the background they need to understand and value free enterprise, business, and economics, and to utilize what they learn to improve the quality of their lives. Each partner has an important role to play in ensuring that every child involved has the most meaningful and enriching experience possible.
Most new volunteers and many teachers who have not participated in JA before are apprehensive about just what is expected of them. Below, we've broken out the basic responsibilities of each JA partner. |

JA provides all materials, curriculum support, and training for teachers and volunteers. Our goal is to integrate the highest quality economic program possible into the classroom curriculum.
-
We're there to help if you have a problem or concern. Staff members visit as many classes as possible each year, but also depend on volunteers and teachers to contact us with questions. We also want to hear your success stories! |
