CHAIRMAN, JA WORLDWIDE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Ainar D. Aijala, Jr., leads Deloitte's global consulting practice which has 26,000 consultants serving clients in 144 countries around the world. He is a member of the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Executive. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors for Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Mr. Aijala has been with Deloitte since 1982 and was admitted to the partnership in 1985. He has held numerous roles within the organization during his career and was the founding global leader of the Human Capital practice. His immediate past role was National Managing Director-Services for the US Consulting practice in which he oversaw the entire portfolio from technology through strategy consulting. He personally specializes in helping companies address their human resource and benefits issues particularly as they relate to the execution of the business strategy. As the leader of a significant practice that has grown rapidly while attracting, developing and retaining top intellectual capital, he is especially well versed in the talent management challenges facing today's business leaders.

Mr. Aijala is Chairman of the Board for JA Worldwide™ (Junior Achievement). He is an Enrolled Actuary, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and received a Bachelors degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Michigan. He resides with his wife and son in New York City, where they are active in many charities, including the Central Park Conservancy.
