JA Global Student Company of the Year Competition

In 2011, with FedEx sponsorship, the JA Global Student Company of the Year Competition will bring together JA students from around the world: Europe, Unites States, and Canada, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific. This unique and exciting cross-cultural experience will bring top student companies to participate in the final competition to select the best student enterprise of the year. This event is the pinnacle of a year’s worth of unrivaled entrepreneurial experience that will emphasize the acquisition of solid business skills and the importance of teamwork.

JA Global Student Company of the Year
Student Ambassador Application, Asia Pacific Region

Student ambassadors will be selected from the Asia Pacific Region. Student ambassadors will serve as observers at the JA-YE Student Company of the Year Competition held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Thursday July 2 – Sunday July 5, 2009, and will shadow student competitors. The ambassadors will attend this event to gain an understanding of how to best lead the Asia Pacific Region Student Company of the Year Competitions in 2010.

Who is eligible to participate?
Eligibility is limited to JA Member Offices in the Asia Pacific region. Students must have served as an officer in the JA Company Program, and must be at least 16 years of age (by July 15, 2009). Interested students must have at least one year of secondary education remaining, and must express the desire to assist in launching their region’s 2010 JA Company Program competition. Students graduating in 2009 are not eligible to apply.
