W. K. Kellogg invented corn flakes and was also a pioneer in advertising. His packaged cereals changed what Americans ate for breakfast; they also brought mass advertising to the breakfast table. The Kellogg Company has carried on the tradition of innovative advertising and continues to develop new products and more efficient manufacturing and marketing methods. W.K. Kellogg retired as president in 1929 and established the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. |
