Dee Ward Hock foresaw a global electronic-data network that would give everyone the financial services usually reserved for large institutions and the wealthy: credit, access to cash, and the power to move assets between accounts while at home or abroad. In order to make the data network work, in 1970 Hock created a reverse holding company, tying thousands of independent banks together. | ||||||||
