Dr. Andrew Grove, president and CEO of Intel Corporation, was born 1936 in Budapest, Hungary and survived the Nazi occupation. Grove helped form the Intel Corporation and rose to its helm. Under his leadership, Intel has become the world’s largest manufacturer of microprocessors. Grove is credited with creating a new generation of digital technologies, including high-speed microprocessors.
