Peter Drucker’s view is that the art of management is an essential outgrowth of the liberal arts. His publications span seven decades and his 27 books include The Concept of the Corporation; Management: Tasks, Responsibilities and Practices; and The New Realities. Drucker has written more articles for Harvard Business Review than anyone in the history of the publication, and has added more editorial comments to The Wall Street Journal than any other columnist. His prolific writing has influenced generations of managers in business, government, and the nonprofit sector.
