In 1962 Glen Bell founded Taco Bell with $4,000 and an idea for a new kind of fast food. Tacos quickly caught on and in 1978 Bell sold the company to PepsiCo for $125 million. Today Taco Bell is one of the largest and most recognizable fast-food restaurant chains in the world with 4,600 locations worldwide. Bell’s philanthropic spirit continues through Bell Gardens, a 115-acre farm north of San Diego where visitors may enjoy wholesome outdoor activities. |
