2009 U.S. Business Hall of Fame Presented by JA Worldwide® Laureate Nomination If you would like to nominate a candidate for the 2009 U.S. Business Hall of Fame, please use the form below. Criteria for Selection as a U.S. Business Hall of Fame Laureate Since 1975, the U.S. Business Hall of Fame presented by JA Worldwide® has annually recognized the most esteemed leaders of the American free enterprise system. To be considered as a Business Hall of Fame Laureate, an individual's record of business achievement must demonstrate: a) business excellence, b) courageous thinking and actions, c) vision and innovation, d) inspiring leadership, e) and community mindedness. In addition, nominees must serve as a role model for those who follow. Stated more simply, U.S. Business Hall of Fame Laureates are individuals whose work has moved American society in a better, stronger direction. Laureates will be selected from two categories: Historical Laureates (deceased), Active/Retired Laureates (individuals still engaged in the day-to-day activities of their businesses or individuals who have retired from active business involvement). The review committee will strive for diversity among those selected as finalists, for example: race, gender, industry, geography, size of business enterprise, etc. I wish to nominate:Submit Laureate nomination forms for the 2009 U.S. Business Hall of Fame by May 23, 2008.
