Recent Event Spotlights JA Afterschool: JA Afterschool was featured at the recent U.S. Business Hall of Fame event in Charlotte, NC. The event was attended by more than 700 businesspeople, students, and other members of the JA community. During the Chairman’s Luncheon, JA Afterschool took center stage. Exhibits were set up outside of the grand ballroom, where JA student ambassadors showed their wares and described each of JA’s after-school programs.

The Luncheon featured a video on JA Afterschool, along with JA student speaker, Lauren Fabrize; JA Worldwide Board Member, Stedman Graham; and a keynote address by JA alumnus and winner of The Apprentice, Bill Rancic. Rancic discussed the importance of creativity and innovation and being an entrepreneur in everything you do, and credited his JA experience for allowing him to reach his potential.
