More than a half-million students impacted by partnership

Colorado Springs, Colo. and Washington, D.C. — Junior Achievement USA™ (JA) and The Financial Services Roundtable (the Roundtable) announce that through their partnership, they reached 527,000 students in the 2010-2011 school year: up 19 percent from the previous school year. During this school year, 37,296 volunteers from Roundtable member companies volunteered in classrooms across the country.

"Junior Achievement is thrilled to have this lasting partnership with The Financial Services Roundtable," said Jack E. Kosakowski, president and chief executive officer of Junior Achievement USA. "The Roundtable volunteers provide important insight to our students around the importance of responsible and effective money management as they deliver JA programs."

The Roundtable and JA collaborate to promote financial literacy in schools throughout the United States. The effort leverages the strengths and expertise of both organizations to empower young people in the United States with the tools and knowledge to be financially responsible.

"Roundtable company volunteers have committed to help America's youth prepare for a secure financial future," said Steve Bartlett, President and CEO of The Financial Services Roundtable. "This is a partnership with real results and we're looking forward to another impactful year."
